Randomness and procrastination

I'm tired but don't quite feel like going to be yet so I will blog instead. Thats where the procrastination part of the title comes from. Randomness...well thats probably because I will just randomly talk about whats floating around in my head.

Not a whole lot new here. Last week Friday on my way to work I was turing the corner and my tires slipped a little bit and my car felt like something happened to the car. Sure enough. My steering wheel was stiff and hard to turn and the battery light came one. Phone call to Scott (I love cell phones!), explained the problem to him and at this point I'm still in my neighborhood and concerned about being able to get to work safely. He tells me just to drive to work and he'll look at the car later. So he diagnosis the problem as the belt tensioner and my car stays at work all day long.

Of course this day we happen to be slower and it was my turn to go home early so once againa phone call to my mom to come and pick me up. Do I really have to mention the fact that I feel like I'm all of 12 years old calling her to pick me up? Needless to say my xray students thought this was great amusement and took great care to tease me about this! :)

Sat. morning was an adventure rescuing my car from the hospital parking lot. It involved 2 flat tires on the tow dolly, one trip home to get the correct tools and tractor driving. :) Tractor driving was the best part of the whole deal. That night we went to a Griffins game that they actually won!! They played the same team that royally whooped them on New Year's Eve! I was beginning to think the just didn't like to win when we were at the game. Of in Scott's opinion its all my fault. Oh well....

Sunday was just a relaxing day at home filled with laundry and some baking. And of course dinner in Hopkins with our friends.

Today Scott was able to repair my car and looks like its back in operating order. Yay! I greatly enjoy driving my own car, however it is nice to drive something different every so often....


Wow this whole entry has ended up being about my whole car fiasco. Yikes!!

Okay one more thought and then I need to go to bed! Its about moms and grandmas. Someone once said to me "Grandmas are wise." I believe that Moms and Grandmas are wise. I feel so blessed to be surrounded by all the wonderful wise women in my family. I am so blessed to have a wonderful relationship with my mom and mom in law they are there foe me when I need them to be or I can call them and get their opinion on something. Not only them but the wonderful examples and wisdom I get from my grandma's too. I can only hope and pray I am as wise, awesome and generous as them when I get older. Thank you God for the wonderful ladies in my family. Not only them but also the friends I have in my life.

Alright I think thats about it. These later night entries tend to be rambling and philosophic. Thats all folks. Good night.
