Thankgiving

10 Things I am thankful for this year.

1. A healthy baby boy. Little Man can keep my life interesting and keep me laughing with his antics and behavior. I never knew the depth of love I could have for this boy.

2. A loving and funny husband. Since having Little Man I have seen a whole new side of Scott and I love watching him be a dad.

3. FMLA having 12 weeks off to spend with Little Man and being off during Thanksgiving is wonderful.

4. The passing of Grandpa S. A weird thing to be thankful for I know. However as much a I miss him, I'm grateful for the memories I have of him and 27 years I was able to spend with him and visiting with him so much in his last few weeks. The one regret he was never able to meet his Great Grandson.

5. My job. As much as I'm loving being off from work there is something to be said about missing adult conversation during the day and I do miss my co-workers too.

6. My sister. I think we've grown closer with her being out of state. I wish she was in state and I'm sure she misses living closer with the addition of Little Man.

7. My parents. Being a parent now makes me see how many sacrifices my parents made for me and how I want to be able to do same for my child(ren).

8. Epidurals who ever invented these is a genius. Labor is much better with them. :)

9. Little Man's pediatrician's office-the nurses and staff there are so good about answering questions (and not making me feel like an idiot) and getting him in if needed. Not to mention his pediatrician is awesome!

10. Friends. Over the past year it has been thru the prayers and support of friends who we have been able to get thru the passing of Grandpa S, pregnancy and all its ups and downs, and the arrival of Little Man.

I have a lot more to be thankful for, however someone is waking up and I'm needed.
Happy Turkey Day!

Having a good pediatrician is so important and a great thing to be thankful for! I so miss our pediatrician in Las Vegas, the one we have here is not my favorite.
