I have to admit I'm absolutely loving the weather Michigan has been experiencing lately. The nights are chilly and the days are sunny and gorgeous for seeing the changing leaves. I love fall. I like all the season and try to find the good in them all but fall is my personal favorite. :) :) There are quite a stand of trees behind the hospital and I love seeing the changing colors over the past few weeks. I even managed to drive up north this past Thursday day for a day away and to see the colors. It was absolutely wonderful to drive north and see the colors on 131 and up by Cadillac and Falmouth. Falmouth is the small town which my dad's side of the famil is from. Wheneve I was in college and needed a day away, my dad and I would drive up there. The general store in town makes their own jerkey so no trip up there is complete without jerkey. I surprised myself and was able to get there and back without looking at a map or getting lost. :) All those trips up north came in handy! :)

Scott's softball season is officially over. He lost his tournament game on Thursday night and the season came to an end. :( :( It was a lot of fun getting to know people on the team and the camraderie that comes from the team and going out for pizza and beer afterwards. More friends are always a plus! :)

Friday I had a day long meeting for GRCC. I'm a clinical instructor in addition to my other responsibilities and the instructors from the college treated us to a fun day away. The morning was full of meetings and getting thru new paperwork and policies, schedules yada yada...The afternoon is when the fun comes in we did a ropes course at this camps. We did in pairs of two to climb giant's ladder. The only problem the rungs were farther apart as we got higher up and fewer things to hang on to. My partner and I were about the same height and body type and only managed to make it 2 rungs up. After working for 20 min. we gave up and came back to the solid ground. It was fun and I learned some lessons about depending on other people to help me get up the ladder and back down to the ground safely. I'm incredibly sore today and have some good bruises on my legs, but it was worth it! :)

I think thats about it from our house. Off to check on dinner it starting to smell yummy!
