The calendar says October the weather is defintely October. October is one of my favorite months. Apples. leaves changing, leaf raking, bonfires all a few of my favorite things. And its my birthday this month too. Well actually tomorrow. Yes I get excited about my birthday!!! :) :) :)
Not a whole lot new this week. Scott's team won their softball game on Thurs night and I think they are 2nd in the league going into touraments next week. I got a pedicure with Lynsay one of my friends from work too.
Friday, was my day off and I enjoyed it! Hair cut in the morning and a lunch date with Scott. When we were dating we would frequently go for lunch when we were both in town and able to go. At night I went out for a girls night with my girlies from high school and also to celebrate my birthday. We went wine tasting at Hudsonville Winery. Yes I know that seems like an oxymoron, wine in Hudsonville. Anyhow, it was a good time, yummy wines and a ton of fun to sample and kid with the wine makers. We went for dinner at Vitale's and that was yummy too! We split a pizza and that was a cheap dinner for the 5 of us. Loved it! And I got a mini cake for my birthday. I couldn't believe it, it was like a 4 inch round cake. Then I went line dancing @ Peppino's in Hudsonville. That was a ton of fun. The one thing I really, really wanted to do and missed from the Bresa. What I didn't think about was in the like 5 years since I last went line dancing that some of the dances have changed and new ones have been created. So I didn't know quite as many as I had hoped. Also it felt like college night. I'm pretty sure I was the oldest one on the dance floor. I seriously felt like I was dancing with 12 year olds. I still had a bunch of fun!
Today is the 6 year anniversary of my first date with Scott. I can't believe its been6 years!! When I went out with him that night I never imagined I end up married to him. I knew he was a great guy and I really enjoyed our date. It wasn't until a week later we went for dinner and he paused to pray before eating that this was a man thta I maybe could spend more time with. And I have like 6 years worth! Ha ha. It hasn't always been a smooth road but I can't imagine anyone else I'd rather come home to everyday or have by my side as we travel this adventure of life. God is amazing! He saw it fit to bring us together. Awesome.
Have a great week folks! :)
