Can it be November already?

I honestly don't believe its Novemeber already?! And I've already seen my first few snowflakes. Not too sure how I'm ready for that change in the weather. I'm stll enjoying the leaves floating down off the trees and walking on the ones that are crunchy on the sidewalk. I'll go out of my way to walk on a leaf or thru a pile of leaves that is particularly crunchy! :) Okay I'm a dork but oh well.

We have finally broken down and turned the furnace on before the imaginary Nov. 1 deadline. I was too cold and turned it on one morning before work and Scott I think was too tired or didn't pay enough attention. Oh well.

Scott enjoys baking and his speciality is pumpkin pie. He makes it all from scratch. Even the pie crust. I don't know where he gets the patience to make it all from scratch and not lose his mind. The first pies were made today and I hope many more come out of the oven. One time he forgor to put the sugar in, so we scooped out the pie filling mixed the sugar back in and let it cook for a bit longer to make sure it was sweet enough. Don't worry the pie didn't go to waste. Now I think he's planning on making a pumpkin roll. Hmmm I'm liking all this baking and especially since I don't have to do it.

I can't believe a week ago I was in Chicago with my sister. I can't wait to go back in a month for the bus trip from church. Its an annual tradition for the ladies of the family to go and then shop around Grandville/Wyoming/Hudsonvill area on the following day. Its a ton of shopping but oh so much fun! :)

Time for a piece of pie. Adios.
