Another week has passed. Wow that was an earth shaking statement by me. Ha ha! :) :) Not a whole let new for updates for me to post. Which I guess can be good thing.

One very big highlight from this week was my Dad's doctor's appointment on Thursday. He found out the results of his pathology report from his surgery and it came back NEGATIVE!!! (Sorry I had to use all caps on that!) All the cancer was contained to the prostate. Hallelujah! Now he has to recover and a repeat labs in a few weeks just to double check but his doctor remains incredibly optomistic. So cancer still sucks but he's beating it! :)

I guess thats about the only real news from us this week. I'm glad to be back home after dad sitting last weekend and another 5k in 2 weeks.

I keep thinking about today being Sept. 11 and read an article in the GR press that high schoolers today don't remember a time when you could go to the gate and watch planes take off or didn't have to take off your shoes going thru security. How much our world has changed in those 9 years. I still remember what happened that day and where I was. I don't think I'll ever forget. I was still a senior at Unity and the whole day revolved around the events, watching TV and praying. My AP English teacher wanted to go on with class but it didn't work so great. I could go on but stop before this gets really boring....
